Disneyland!

So on the sixth, I went to California with some super awesome people. :D My dad, sister and I woke up at the crack of dawn and trooped bleary eyed to find some coffee. After that we loaded up the van and drove to one of my best friend's house and met with some of the other people that were coming, loaded them up, dispersed into various cars, drove to the airport, got our bags checked, went through security and got more energy. (aka coffee)  By this time the group consists of, my bestie, his mom and dad, his brother and brother's wife, their three children, her mom and dad, his sister, her husband, his other sister, her husband, their two children..aaand...My sister and her boyfriend! :D Big group eh? ;) I love em :)

It was my second time to step out of the cool air conditioned airplane into the warm California air.. Then we got to the hotel and unpacked..The next day...The Disneyland time began :D It was so awesome!! :D I have been to Disneyland once before, but didn't get the complete feeling of it...It was Thanksgiving weekend, so the place was super full, I only went on like two or three rides, and barely got to see or go anywhere :P It was awesome getting to be there and all, but just not....Diiiiiiisney. This time was not like that at all :D It was amazing :D There were not a lot of people the entire time (I mean, there were a couple of days that were kind of full, but nothing that compared to the first time) :P Basically, it was the best week EVAR :D

The whole feeling of Disney was awesome :) Seeing some of my favorite childhood characters everywhere, the cuteness, the rides, the friends, the color, the feeling, the smell, the hidden Mickeys, the joy, the happy kids, (or happy teens in my case XD) everything. It.Was.Awesome. :D I got quite a few pins, and traded them around, got a "first visit!" pin and got the whooole disney feel :D

Some late night thoughts..

I had a pretty great Sunday today! Went over to a family's house from church and hung out talking about politics, Christianity, and art. haha :P While there, two of the adults started to talk to me about the collage I am thinking about, and one of them mentioned "It would be cool to have a young person from our church go to Patrick Henry." and I was just like "Wow..That sounded so big.." The thought of the collage is big..and probably the biggest thing I have ever tried. Lot's of things go through my head like "What if I fail?" "What if I get in..And can't handle the classes?" "What if I get in and can't handle being so far away?" "What if I am so scared of getting in that I don't actually try my hardest?" "What if I put a lot of time into this and don't actually get even close?" "What if I'm putting so much thought into this, and I don't actually even end up putting the application in?" So many questions..and I can't answer them..I cant just Google and find the answer..I can't look it up on Yahoo and find someone who's asked the same question..The only person that I can ask is God..I am praying about the situation, and I know that he will give me whatever he knows is best for me in the end. But at the same time, I am kind of scared. So, please pray for me :) Pray that I'll know what to do, that I wont worry too much and give myself an ulcer...(Because knowing me..I'd do that...haha) and last but not least, please pray that I would continue to look to God for guidance :)

Tomorrow I am gonna be going to a BBQ with some awesome people for Labor Day! :) My family doesn't really ever do anything for Labor Day..haha :P But it should be fun! :) I love those people XD :D

Ramblings of a lazy blogger..

I know I have not posted a real post in far too long dear followers..So, as I sit in the depths of despair and darkness I offer you my utmost apology, pouring my very heart out and soaking my pillow with weeping...Either that I'm just stuck in my bedroom saying "sorry for not posting dudes" with a burnt out light bulb..Choose whichever story you see fit :P

Life has been pretty great lately :D Had some sad moments, some happy ones, goofy, amazing, and even bittersweet, But all in all...I'd have to say I had a great summer :D Right now I am studying (and studying..and studying...) to get into the collage of my dreams. Patrick Henry. I know I haven't been focusing on my school as much as I should if I really want to go there..But I'm going to try and work on that more in the following months :) I have some mixed feelings about the collage.. (seeing as it is in Virginia...) On one hand, I don't want to leave my friends, family, and half my life behind, and on the other hand my brain is telling me "Go for it! If you don't at least try, you'll really regret it in 5 years!" So..I've got a little blender in my head with a bunch of thoughts crammed in there spinning around :P

My camera broke..It wont recognize if there is a memory card in there..So now I am only using a phone camera that my friend Wesley gave me :) It has 5 megapixels, and works fine for me ;) Most of my recent pictures are on my Instagram...and I hardly do much with them now :P

Im officially going to be in Disneyland in 4 days!! I'm pretty excited about that :D I will be gone from the 6th-13th :D I will be there with Wesley, his family, my older sister Shay and her boyfriend, Benny :) Its gonna be a blast. (and I am going to take maaany pictures) ;)

Something else that I am wildly excited about is the fact that I get to go to a Blue October concert. Blue October is one of my favorite bands. (If not my favorite) Justin's music has so much feeling and heart...Its just amazing...and I am so happy that I get to see him in person :) I so wish I could meet him...And ya know what? Someday I will! Thats not even a maybe or a possible. I will meet Justin Furstenfeld if it kills me. :P

You see that face? That is the face of someone who literally pours every single feeling into their music. He's someone that I really admire, because despite his hurt and issues that he has to go through, he really does write music to help people in pain. He's the kind of person that I can really just describe as a beautiful person. Even if that does sound cheesy or anything. It's true.

I might just be obsessed with the Eiffel Tower at the moment..Or Paris in general :P I know a lot of people are and its kinds like Mustaches..over done..But I don't care. :P Someday I'll go there. And someday Ill see the Eiffel Tower with my very own eyes. ;) 

I tend to post a lot of clothes :P Because who can go through life without seeing this skirt?! No one. :P So that's why I have my "My style and such:)" board :)

So one of my totally awesome blogger friends commented on my "About Me" with these awesome questions! :D There are quite a few, so I decided just to make it into a whole post :D Thanks Keelie! You rock! I'll have a great time answering these! ;D 

1) What do you look for in a guy? Well, i used to have a very different idea about what i wanted then i have now...But i want someone who is not afraid to be a little immature, who has a good relationship with God, and his family, someone who knows what he is going to do with his life and someone who is not afraid to be a little goofy, someone who is loyal and being just a tiny bit sappy does help ;) My mom says that sounds like a dork..XD 

2) What is your favorite clothes brand?  Aeropostale and Converse! :D 

3) Coke or Pepsi?  COKE. 

4) What's your favorite animal? Giraffes, and hedgehogs ;) Yuss..

5) What is your favorite chat face? ^-^ and :D because ^-^ is cute..and :D is happy..lol 

6) What's your favorite music genre? I love a ton of different kinds of music, I like some pop, country, rock, stuff like Evanescence, i like rap (I helped write a rap song for a talent show with my bro and our friend XD) I also love things like Breaking Benjamin, Red and Flyleaf.. Im a fan of Kelly Clarkson..So that kinda shows how much my musical taste varies :P I like tons of different things, and it depends a lot on my mood :P

7) What's your favorite day of the week? I love Friday and Sunday..Friday because its the beginning of the weekend, and Im usually hanging out with a friend that day, and Sunday because I get to see my awesome friends, and go to church to worship God ^-^ :) 

8) Why do you love photography? Im not actually exactly sure why I do, I really like trying to see how I can make something plain and not especially interesting (such as a mailbox) into something pretty and nice to look at..I love capturing moments and I love that I can have that memory for a while because I think of it whenever I see the picture. People have told me that I have "an eye" ..Personally I dont see it..But whatever XD Someday I will have a nice camera..The one I have now has 5 mega pixels :P The only fantastic thing about that is when someone says "You took *that* picture with *that* camera?!" Yes. Yes I did. XD :) 

9) Which do you like better on yourself? Curly or straight hair? People tell me I look more "mature" with straight hair..But I prefer curly hair on myself :) My hair is a tad bit nuts and likes to switch in between being super curly..and super straight..some days i coax it to do what I want..and some days I just let it be :P  

10) Gloves or mittens? Gloves, I have a lot of gloves XD My favorite is when they're fingerless gloves, but then you can pull up the little flap thing and it becomes mittens XD :D

11) Dolls or stuffed animals? Oh stuffed animals aaall the way :D I have quite a few on my bed..:D and i love them all XD

12) When it comes to perfume scents, would you be more likely to chose a scent like brown sugar, blackberry, wild flowers or a scent that didn't have a particular name (example, "singing breeze")? I really don't like food scents..Like brown sugar, or cupcakes :P bleh :P I really like one that I have called Dancing Waters, and I absolutely LOVE fruit scents :D Toootally my stuff :D 

13) Are you a morning person,or a night owl? I am NOT a morning person. People can confirm that too..haha..I like nights :D

14) Fruit or Vegetables? I'm actually a pretty big fan of salads..But I absolutely love fruit :D 

15) Summer,spring,winter or fall? I love all the seasons for different reasons..I love summer because of the time I get to spend with friends, shorts and Popsicles, I love spring because of the flowers and the smell of the air, I love winter because of the warm blankets, the cold air and cuddling up with hot chocolate and friends, and I love fall because the way the air feels, the crunchy leaves and the colors :D

16) What is your favorite boys name? Girls? Hmm..I actually gotta think about this one..I have always been a huge fan of the name Cameron..and Christian..I like tons of different names :P For girls I like the name Holly (if i have a girl close enough to christmas..I really wanna name her Holly Noelle) and Bella..But my favorite name tends to change :P

17) What are your favorite books? I have a lot of books I like to read..From The Luckiest Girl, to Hardy Boys, Winnie the Pooh, Calvin and Hobbes, Holes, Freaky Friday, Fruits Basket, Miki Falls and The Princess Bride :D 

18) What are your favorite movies? Ohh man..I have about 1,393,378,830 of them :P Speed Racer, High School Musical, Real Steel, How to Train Your Dragon, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Step Up, Inception, Sherlock Holmes, anything with John Wayne, the Die Hard series, Charlie Saint Cloud, 17 Again, Sleeping Beauty, The Last Song, When In Rome, Tarzan, Gladiator, Harry Potter, Iron Man and many many many more :P :P 

19) What is your favorite thing to do when you can't sleep? I just kind of lay there and think..:P Either that I read..:P Sometimes I watch Clannad or a different tv show I like :P

20) Can you role your R's? Whistle? Do the taco tongue?  .I cant really do the first...Somewhat do the second..But I can totally do the third! ;D

21) Do you sleep on your back,your side, or your stomach? haha! I usually sleep on my back or my side..But I almost always wake up on my stomach or side :P

22) What are some of your favorite things to do on a rainy day? Watch a movie, curl up with a friend and talk, or chat with friends on facebook or google chat :D

My besties and I in the world of 2012:)

I've been thinking back about how much has changed for me this last year, there have been some really hard days, and some of the best days of my life. There have been tears, and like..stomach hurting laughter. Some of the changes have been for the better..and some I think I could've done without..But without me really realizing it,have probably been really good for me. 

There have been friends that I have gotten to be closer to than I could have ever expected..and there are friends I have lost. There are new people I have met, and people that have been there for me for years.

 I love you all!! 

My friends are the best people in the world. They make me scream, laugh, cry, worry, dance and go absolutely crazy :) I dont know what life would be like without them :D I remember when I didn't have any friends..But now I have more friends then I could have ever imagined! And I love every single one of them!! :)  They make me feel so loved, and so happy :) :D <3

I know that 2012 (that still sounds weird to me..) will have its good and bad times, but I have a really good feeling about it anyways:) I've got my amazing friends that are always there for me :)

So, Hello 2012! I know I should have said that on here about 17 days ago, but I was too busy saying goodbye to 2011 ;) 

I got to cross a lot of things of my bucket list, and I'm happy I got to do those new things :) From going to California for the first time to having frozen yogurt for the first time this year has been great :) 

My mom and dad have been the best, and the rest of my family have been here for me so much, from sitting with me and helping me through algebra to threatening to punch various guys.... My family is epic ;)

I'm gonna be really busy with various things this year! We are working on getting me to go to Debate Camp at Patrick Henry Collage in June! Ohmygosh. Me..In Virginia. All alone?! It'll be a whole new experience that will be both thrilling and exciting! :D That, and the fact that I am most likely going to Salem in April for Teen Pact (its on my 16th birthday!) I am also going to be doing some book club my mom told me about, and various classes that I am going to be taking for High School Credits. :) 

I am currently working at my school to get my grades up so I can possibly try and get into Patrick Henry (Oi! Its a great collage..and super tough to get into, so don't judge if I don't make it) If I do make it, I will be working on Debate, Journalism and possibly a couple of other things. 

Well, I've got things to do!

I like Coffee better..Especially when it comes to Starbucks..Mmmmm... Occasionally I like to drink tea, but I have only found like, two flavors that I actually like :P
